Gosh the track in that video seemed a bit bumpy lol.
The guy obviously doesnt have a skyline.
IMO just strip everything out of your 1.2 and get some good coilovers then get it set up by someone who knows that they are doing. Then learn how to drive.
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
A full car respray
What colours do you have in mind or is it a secert?
My dished wheel is just sat on my desk, but i've been so busy with work i havnt had time to fit it :(
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
I have ITB's so i could be the ITB'd clio of the 3 cars :)
How are you finding the dished wheel? Coping with the fact you cant reach the indicators whilst your hands are on the wheel!?
Oooo some nice goodies you have been collecting/buying.
You know the bit on the rocker cover to the right which is missing. Do you know if you can just take it off the engine whilst its on the car?
F1's look much better.
The engine bay looks quite snazzy too.
IMO the colour looks great when its clean & sunny but a bit poo when its dirty, but then i suppose all cars do
Some cool Rat cars. Liking the stelth 200.
7.5mpg is that from fast driving or you resetting the gauge when at traffic lights ;) ?
(mark you back in Hud?)
Yeah i know what you mean, I used to run rubbish EBC green stuff everyday day but then after using the CL i just had to keep them in as the stopping power of cold CL's is better than the stopping power of EBC green stuff when warm/hot.
Do you now have a GTR?
Theres nothing really that wrong with using CL pads on the road. But then it depends how many miles you do and what type of driving you do. I dont really use my brakes that much on the road which is why my discs have lasted so long.
But they are quite aggressive and can eat discs if your not...
I'm having a bit of a blond day today and cant work out if my ITB'd 182 will pass its MOT on emmisions when i bash the cat back in?
It passed last Feb when it was standard but now its mapped with to the ITB's so will it pass?
:S
I run Carbone Lorraine Front pads (RC5) and i have some cheapest of cheap rear pads.
I know the rear brakes dont really do that much but if i put some CL's in the back will it improve the braking blalance or performance?
The question is baised on the car been on track.
What pads do people...
It must be the wheels that do it for me because i usually hate white wheels on silver clios but your and 172ben's cars look amazing. If they werent so heavy i'd buy a set (oh and if i wasnt so poor)
