Re: One Year on & £**** spent
Arrr i see, The ITB's are really really easy to fit. The the end of the day it just undoing parts and bolting new parts on.
I think it woud cost about £500 to have them fitted by a company.
If you buy some i'll fit them for you for £450 ;) bargin
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
You havnt read my thread have you? lol
I fitted it all myself
Cost me about £2000 for everything including a live remap by K-tec :)
Money well spent imo
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
After making a mess of the engine bay by trying to figure out what the problem was i spent today tidying it up a little. Mainly just the wiring and then i can get on with cleaning it and painting bits.
Here is a pic before i started to mash everything
Then...
Yep deffently do that, i do it before i go out on a new track that i dont realy know. You'll soon know where to go as bedford is complety flat.
Just be smooth with everything, smooth on the brakes, smooth on the accelerator, smooth steering and you'll be fine.
I must still be in the honey moon period with my ITBs as i love it poping and banging :)
The exhaust is sily loud atm so maybe my baffels are on their way out. The exhaust has had about 30,000 miles of decattedness.
Oh dear, Law is such a difficult thing to decide. Try threatening a law suit with the seller and explain you have a case (even though you may not 100% have one). He may s*it himself and give you your money back. Its worth a try if you havnt allready

I think you may have a case, section 35 of the sale of goods act,
He sold you somthing which he said was working but it wasnt so you might have a legal case if you wanted to go down that route.
EDIT: just read F0xy's post. not so sure now
