I keep looking at the “enlarged refurbed” ones on eBay and not sure about them. I really don’t want to have to do it as it will be on ITBs at some point in the future. I know, why they stopped making them is madness. The after market ones are rubbish.

Is that a new/refurbed throttle body? I have noticed mine is starting to stick when driving in stop start traffic so it's probably a downward slope for it now. I probably shlould change the throttle cable on it as a start.
