Ive seen some 172s for sale for about 5k (even seen one at 3.5k). I just cant decide if its worth paying out the extra for the 172. Im not worried about the insurance side of things tho. In the summer im gonna have about 4k hopefully to get another car. Is it worth waiting for the mk1 172 prices...

Dont mind travelling too much as long as i can get one cheap that wont cause much probs in the future it would do me (no engine/susp damage) just wanna try and get a good deal. if im gonna get a 172, would have to wait until im prob 21 to get it insured (june time)

Im thinking of getting a light damaged/stolen recovered car as they seem to be cheap and fully it wont cost much do up. Anyone recommend this or can give me advice. Ive seen a red mk1 172 for about £3k but sadly there is no pics :(

They may be able to, just depends on the plugs at the back if they fit or not. R5 dials are very similer to Clio dials

If the speed camera didnt have a sign on the back of it you may get away with it

alright for some - i pay about £400 (£450 with dd intrest) tpft with no mods on my 1.2 8v

Gonna do mine soon but the whole plastic that holds up the dials id orange platic :( is i just put big leds in, will it show up purple or a blue colour??

bulbs gone on one of my brake lights, its dark an i gotta go out lol. As my car is a mk1 ph3 is it still illegal to drive as i have the extra brakelight in the middle so technically I still have 2 working breaklights??

Mines done it before and its been ok since ive put it back on - was off for about 2 weeks to a month

Having a nice time fixing my car at the mo - new tyre, f**ked boot sill... anyways the bulb in the boot has also decided to not work anymore. Instead of the standard replacement I wanna get an LED replacedment from ultraleds website (after a blue one). If anyone knows the bulb type/no. pls can...

I could get all the seats re-trimmed in grey/silver 9or anything else pretty cheap as I know someone who can do upholstry pretty good and may do it for nothing if i could suppy the materials

not keen on red lighting/interior cos the oasis interior is blue/grey with grey carpet. Think it would look odd with the material on rsi front seats (prob make them look like those hawian shirts lol) the interior looks ok just the front seats are bit crap (being a 1.2) and interior is a bit grey...
