Someone said the Williams needs 3 gear changes to get to 60, does that mean you cant hit 60 in 3rd?! Thats pretty weird if so.

Where Im from I dont see many 172s, 172 cups or 182s, where I work (away from home) theres 2 182s, 1 mk1 172 and a 172 cup.
However where I work theres about 12 Cupras, a few cupra Rs too... so as far as Im concerned the 182 is more rare than a cupra / cupra r...
my 182 used a fair bit of oil during the run in period, as for what Oil Synthetic 5W-40, I got Elf Excellium through Total Butler.
Check the dispstick though as has been said, French Electronics should never be relied upon...

happened to me after 6k miles or so, warranty job. Manufacturing fault on damper, seals blow, oil on shaft, bumps from the suspect corner getting worse as you lose more oil.
actually, my dad had his laguna in recently for a new windscreen (a reno f_ck up, theyd put the wrong windscreen in at some point down the lin)... anyway when they fitted the correct windscreen they dented the roof. SO my dad took it straight back, took 10 days but they sorted it out.

i think you need to draw it to the dealers attention asap, the longer you leave it the less likely they are to believe that it happened there. Most people would be complaining within a day IMO.
See how they propose to deal with it, if they say they didnt do it then demand to speak to service...
All RS cars come from the same line, in the RS factory in Dieppe. Imports have different specs, non EU imorts dont have full warranty either. Determine what spec youre gonna get and see if youll be happy with it.

my sister just had her 36k service on her 1.2 8v clio, Reno quoted £240 ish but I sent her to a local garage who did it for £110 inc vat. They stamp the book but its not a renault stamp obviously.
