Ive seen more yellow mk1 172s than black ones, silver more common definitely.

Id go for a mk2 172 or 172 cup to see if you get on with it and then maybe think to a new RS in 2006.

i didnt mean to go so off topic. I wouldnt change for a trophy, trophy does sound impressive but for day to day i like my cars toys and id be quite happy with the 182 on coilovers with new wheels and a H&S exhaust. :D

Renault dont make oil so I hardly think this counts for warranty issues - just make sure its a synthetic 5w 40 oil - even though most Renault dealers dont even get that right!
