theres one exit from the buchanan galleries I remember coming out there in my 205gti and it sounded sweet as... my 182 sounds good in the clyde tunnel too.
yeah otherwise itll look too similar to a 172cup, different cars so should be distinguishable (exhaust is kinda obvious giveaway... but you know what I mean)
Same dillemma here! I aint a great fan of the standard 182 wheels. With cars like 205gtis you always want the standard wheels when you buy one, does the 182 have the same following? A lot of people like the standard wheels so its probably wise to keep them...
What wheels you thinking of as...
zetecs are nice engines too, free revving, fiesta base that the puma is on is remarkebly good too. What is the racing puma engine? I take it its a tuned 1.7 zetec? or is it a 1.8 or 2.0?
I must admit I really like the wide arches on the racing pumas, theyre not exactly quick though... and few and far between.

I dont think so, its a 2.0 16v, not a 1.9 16v
I think itll be more modern, cause gti 6 wasnt around till 96 or 97?! before that was s16s which were 2.0 16v 5 speed.
Pugs used to make great hot hatches, 205gti 106gti and 306gti 6 shame about 206, 307 etc...
the only modification made has been the fitment of the later original Clio rear lights,no other modification has been made at all...
what about the 4x4 conversion?! lol
I think the cup will affect the price of the 182, i.e before the cup I got a UK 182 brand new for £11900, now people are paying £11,100 for new cups... Whats that make the going rate for a new UK 182?
I work in the middle of nowhere and doubt theyd be able to get an exalto there anyime quickly so maybe even worth having one in my lodging up there, just in case!
Would take up too much boot space but probably worth having one in the garage to get you back on the road asap.
Id have thought a normal 14" or 15" steel wheel with a fairly high profile would work, but should be treated like a space saver cause its not gonna offer you balanced handling / grip.
Id be interested to see what wheel is the equivalent outside diameter, might get one myself.
best look at the paperwork, Itd seem theres no cut and dried give aways. Depends on where the vehicle was sourced from. Id expect to pay less for an import than a UK sourced car anyway.
ahhh yeah its early, Im a bit dim in the mornings!
Yeah unless the lights changed in the time it took for the ambulance to catch the front of the queue. And they probably dont even bother saving emergency vehicles images from the cameras, thatd be too smart!
They were standard in the 172 I believe, whats involved in wiring one up to my 182?
Anyone know what renault charge for one?
I fancy the reno one cause itll fit snugly under my passenger seat.
Cheers, Rory
Apparently you can get £12500 if you trade in for another 182 or 225 or v6... I only paid £11900 for mine... plus you can get 0% finance now so could work a fly one to get a new car and cheaper finance and save money!
I might pop in and enquire about this, wouldnt mind seeing the what the...
