Ill have a look in the morning, bit dark out! Its probably always done it, its just very rare youre cruising at 2000 rpm in 5th! So never heard it before.
its not the normal throbbing exhaust note, pissy little resonance Ive only noticed at 2000rpm in 5th, sounds like somethings working lose and about to fall off.
Ahh well I guess Ill end up getting a custom centre section made up at some point in the future, is it just from cat to the back box...
Shight, my exhaust seems to be a bit noisier than it was after 14k...
Maybe get renault to fix it the first time and if it happens again get a tube welded in.
Those pics arent a fix thats a total bodge, Id demand a new exhaust!
Anyone notice a resonant vibration type noise from the exhaust at about 2000 rpm in 5th?!
I was stuck behind a slow ass last night and noticed it... got 40mpg thanks to the slow ass too!
Id never seen a wild badger before in my life until the first time I brought my new 182 upto where I work, boy that was a close call!
Had a bird fly into my driver door once, lots of feathers like a cartoon!
A bird flew into my house window once and left a big sprawled out bird shape inc...
as for the heater, what did you replace, the fan or the heater matrix? Theres normally two pipes attached to the heater matrix which come through the bulkhead from the engine bay, are they both connected?
Im not a clio expert Im afraid, Im sure someone will come along and put you straight.
what about the fuel mix? Is it a fairly old car? I would have thought thered be an adjustment for the amount of fuel / air injected to the mix... maybe this isnt set right?
nightmare to prove things, unless in the pic. My mates mum was stationary at a red when an ambulance comes up behind, she had to creep foreard to let it get past. Of course when she told the police they couldnt care less and still fined her. Wouldnt have taken much to contact the Ambulance...
looks nice, cool car. A neighbour of mine has a silver one.
I was thinking of getting a new shape Ibiza Cupra TD cause I do a lot of long drives and itd have been great for overtaking and fuel economy...
But Im happy with my 182, fuel economy is better than my housemates Leon Cupra!
Enjoy...
IS200 is on its way out, 2.0 is totally under powered, 3.0 is far too expensive. Although they do have a great interior and 6sp box.
I like the shape, Id have one over a 3 series or c-class!
But at the end of the day you cant compare a hot hatch with a small executive car, can you?!
I was told the car I was buying had cup spoiler pack fitted, even though I didnt ask for it (car was a cancelled order of someone elses...)
When I picked up the car I knew it didnt have this, I didnt query it though, think I should have?
I wouldnt mind a splitter, dont fancy a cup spoiler...
well if not by the 3 year warranty, then what happens when they refuse to fix it and things get worse and you end up claiming under the 12 year corrosion warranty?
Its in their interest to fix it Id say before it gets worse...
Good luck!
dunno mate but my local renault garages seem to have a board on their walls behind the service desk with typical cost for services for the more common cars / engines inc 1.2 16v.
yeah I noticed the blue nipple on the pics of the Australian F1 ltd edition 182 someone posted! Was a bit confused as mine doesnt have this either
Looks a bit daft doesnt it?!
Thats more than I paid, pop into any Arnold Clark Renaults POW and see what theyll do...
The 4 years 0% probably requires a 50% deposit

the jet wash at the garage doesnt do much of a job cleaning the car, I too prefer the sponge and hose but unfortunately where I stay I need lots of buckets and a sponge, doh!
My dad bought a decent halfords one recently, probably get a higher specced lesser brand for same money as a bottom of the range karcher? Paying for the name to some extent.
