i have also used the megs clay kit, there is a section on polished bliss about claying, have a little read of that for more claying info. any clay should do the job as long as you keep it lubricated :)
since buying my Dremel to cut my stubborn exhaust bolts i seem to be using it for many different things :-)

v6 airbox is about £60 i believe - you can get them from Wests Renault on here.
depends what you are after, if its noise you like then only an open cone can give you that, if your not fussed about noise you can revert to standard with a panel filter. A V6 box is somewhere in between noise wise...

the lack of aircon, xenons and leather doesn't bother me go the slightest , neither does the abs..i got mine because it was in the right place at the right time ..... i am pretty glad i did to be honest, however they are both still a 172
I put the Carlub Dot4 in mine, however i didnt have an eazi bleed thingy so it was a case of - open bleed screw, mate pumps pedal down, close bleed nipple and repeat for all 4 wheels and it takes ages to bleed 1ltr through the system!
i have the EBC variant on my cup and cant fault them for the price (£18 egay)....combined with the brembo HC's & fluid change these are IMHO a better set up than standard for not much money (£65 for discs & pads)
