It's in the firmware, but unless you have tethering on your account you can't use it. I don't know about the other UK carriers, but it won't work on O2 as they charge an extra fee to enable it.
It takes as long as a normal OS X install, doesn't take too long.
Once it's reinstalled, you still have access to the old system folder incase there was anything in there you wanted/needed, if not you can just delete it. It leaves your user directories alone, so all your files will be there...
You don't need to.
Boot from DVD, select "Archive and Install". It will archive your old OS X system and install a new one. It will keep your home folder and other settings.
Btw, the three pay and go MiFi dongle is available from expansys for £59 which includes 3 montha/3gig (whichever comes first) pre loaded onto it, it's usually £71 direct from three.
They're also a doddle to unlock, so you can use other network sims in them.
Apple didn't actually write the original iTunes, they purchased another company and rebranded Soundjam MP.....
I've never had a problem with iTunes although for whatever reason it seems to lead even the most logical thinking people to confusion.
My iPhone 4 was bought sim free from the apple store our other iPhone 4 was bought in tesco. The bundled minutes/text/data is fantastic considering it's only a 12 month contract.
I have no idea why anybody of sound mind would enter into an 18 or 24 month contract.
I know it's a difficult thing to comprehend when the end result leads to making piracy easier, but honestly the people who cracked this were definitely not motivated by piracy. The group that did the initial work opted not to release the keys and only gave information on how they did it. Fwiw...
Sony (and all the other players) have created this whole mess themselves though. If they provided a legitimate way of running your own software on the console, it's unlikely that the people who have broken stuff like this would be interested in doing it, their motivations are not piracy but...
Yeah, the click mechansism is definately wrong, the surface should click not the "feet".
Tap to click works if you've turned it on (which if you're using it in bed you have to use it) but it a per-user preference, so doesn't work at the login screen where you have to click a foot.
Useful in...
You can turn on hex input codes by selecting "Unicode Hex Input" as the input language in International in system preferences.
And is there any reason you're using entourage?! It's cack!
I'd buy direct from apple, the price difference between the eBay machine and the education is 17 quid...plus you can get applecare for £47. No brainer really.
We have one, our mac mini was connected to the TV in the bedroom and it's more convenient to use a trackpad in bed than a mouse. I like the trackpad although we probably wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't specifically to be used in bed.
15%, if you'd have ordered before the VAT rise it would be cheaper than the eBay one.
We bought a Macbook a couple of years ago from that eBay seller, no problems. They're american, so they have the american keyboard, but seeing as the machine was to be used for writing "C" code it was...
It has 8GB of internal flash which amongst other things it uses for caching streams. It is a streaming device, it's just that the way that it interacts with iTunes for streaming could do with a bit of streamlining.
If they sorted out the way iTunes sharing and streaming worked then it'd all be...
We bought one so that our Mac Mini could go back to being used as a computer rather than a movie player. It's much more limited in what it does than the first generation, but then it's tiny, consumes virtually zero power and is completely silent and plays nicely with our phones (Airplay).
You...
Doesn't matter, the satin screen will be just as unreadable in sunlight outside!
Using a laptop, outside and in the summer sounds like a brilliant idea....unfortunately within about 2 minutes you're back inside! (btw I have mac laptops with both types of screen)
Nice machine btw.
Can't comment specifically on the UX2, but I've used line 6 stuff for years, infact the only guitar I even bother to pick up now is my variax 700, because at the flick of a switch I can go from tele, to les Paul to acoustic.
It's never going to be as warm as micing up a amp on max volume, but...
If/When you hit the magic 5 you'll get the option in your iTunes account to deauthorise all computers, this resets you back down to zero. You can only do this once every 12 months though.
Obviously you'd then need to re-authorise the computers which you did want to access the iTunes content.
My G4 PowerBook is going into retirement on Thursday night. The PMC is fucked and both batteries that I have are now fucked, the charger connection is loose now so that when I move it, it turns off and I have to reboot and then set the clock up. Other than that, its still bloody quick...
Android fragmentation is *nothing* like that, for the most part an application which was written for iPhone OS 1 will still work on iOS4, there have been API changes which have broken things, but these are fairly rare. The scaling is just scaling, it's easy because the retina has quadruple the...
FWIW, the read range we get here on a "mifare card" is about 10cm, both antennas (tag & reader/writer) are about the same area (10cm sq.). I don't think you need worry!
It is the same technology. I've just read the spec chip on the PN544 (which is what samsung have used) and it supports being the reader/writer and operating in card emulation mode, it can emulate a mifare tag (which is what oyster is).
The bigger problem is how that information that is...
