If you're not a programmer or you don't think logically then you're going to get nowhere.
Understanding objective c is one thing, understanding logic and how to actually make a program are something else.
I've seen really intelligent people completely stumped by even the simplest of computing...
Sort your headline banner our, the layout is very poor.
I read it as:
"Greenhouse Energy"
"<b>Catering</b> for all regions"
I read that as 2 separate statements, which makes you sound like a catering company.
Weird, the car has been off the road for 2 months with this fault, in that period it's only done a couple of journeys one of which was 200 mile round trip, it's had the same fuel in since the problem started.
I had no choice but to use the car this morning for a hundred mile journey to the...
I've searched and found a few people who've had this problem, but none seem to be exactly the issue I'm experiencing.
If I'm driving the car and dip the clutch to slow, the revs will go up to 2K and stick there until I've come to a complete standstill at which point they drop down to normal...
This doesn't work. The bug is on repeating alarms (that don't repeat everyday of the week) and can only be fixed by setting the alarm to go off an hour early....until Apple produce a software fix - I guess you just tried creating a non repeating alarm, in which case it will have appeared to...
You're mistaking stale with consistency, just look at Mac OS, from System 1 (1984) even to OS X (2010) it has changed visually very little, it's got more colourful (particularly with OS X) but it's essentially the same thing, Apple unlike Microsoft don't change things just for "s***s and...
Sure...but in the time it's taken you to realise the phone has gone somebody could have already taken advantage if the phone was not pass-coded (and set to pass-code every time rather than after x minutes).
Because if it gets lost/misplaced/stolen you can potentially mitigate the potential for losing personal/confidential information, especially with email in corporate environments.
I think you're mistaken on how it actually works, it uses network features to forward your voicemail directly to their own "voicemail servers" rather than your own network.
They've provided an app to access this, it'll work as well as your existing voicemail does, infact, although I have never...
I disagree, the thing that separates the iPhone from every other handset is the slickness, it just works. Do you see UI funnies or inconsistencies? No.... Before the iPhone the smartphone was the bastion of geeks...now everybody from the receptionist in the hair salon to scientists use them...
They don't need to though....How many phones have I owned that have the ability to transfer files by bluetooth? 4..5...6..maybe. How many times did I use bluetooth file transfer, once, twice maybe 3 times...and what was it that I used bluetooth file transfer for? To get photos off the phone...
Re: Back to the Mac LIVE .. Anyone Watching?
There was nothing of any particular interest, incremental updates to iLife, Schiller obviously trying to win a sweepstake on how many times he could say the word "beautiful" and bloke from the OS X team who had more nerves than a virgin in a brothel...
Humn...I suppose it's more than likely that a jailbroken app could circumvent any of the options provided by apple or third parties to prevent cellular data.
If you're running iOS4 then you can't specifically disable all cellular data (as opposed to just roaming) in the network settings. There...
That's a bizarre naming convention, normally split files are named:
Fred.iso.001
Fred.iso.002
Fred.iso.003
etc.
Are you sure that the file is split and that it's not just multiple ISO files?
You can use the "split and concat" (google it) to put files back together, but I'm not sure if it'll...
As mentioned above, switching off data roaming doesn't work, the phone will still leak data, it is believed it is to do with visual voicemail. The only way to be sure is to disable cellular data.
That doesn't do it. Turning 3G off will only disable 3G, it'll still be able to use GPRS data.
Disabling roaming should do it, but there's a long standing bug that means that it may end up using cellular data anyway.
The setting you want is Settings->General->Network->Cellular Data, turn that...
I'm far from convinced with the new Apple TV from what apple have released about it. It features a mini USB port on the back, but it's for service and support, no mention of whether it supports host or device and no certainly no mention of whether you'd be able to play media from it (we'll take...
I think it depends if you use a credit or debit card. They took the money (debit card) for my iPhone 4 the moment I placed the order online, when my store pickup came through I cancelled the online order and it took a just under a week for the money to go back into my account.
