@MarkCup just an observation but are you not a little concerned of any downsides to posting videos online of you sliding the car around a roundabout, while there's of traffic on the road.
it doesn't bother me, but personally wouldn't do it. Then again I don't watch too many self made car...
my first car was RWD (2 litre, 4 gears and absolutely no driver aids other than a steering wheel), my 17 year old self can confirm they are much fun.
Think I've had 8 different RWD cars since most of which were nothing special but all still had the ability to give RWD entertainment.
With the amount on auto trader with black wheels and black vents you could be forgiven for thinking they were an option. They do look shite though.
I have seen brand new genuine black alloys on eBay
I’ve read that the black seats (which I’m taking to be the half leather ones). Were a £600 option separate to the lux packs.
Might go view the one I posted over the weekend just for a nosey. They have a few other cars that are on my hit list (911, AMG, E90 M3) which is convenient to have them...
so black vents will have been painted by previous owner. Were black wheels an option?
this is the car in question, I hate black wheels so they'd have to be painted silver (vents also would need to be changed to blue)...
Can anyone educate me as to why some mk2 focus RS’s have black bonnet vents and some don’t. I think it’s cars with black alloys that seem to have them black.
Was it some sort of black bad ass option pack, if so is there anything else that’s black as an option on them.
@MarkCup
this would 100% be me if we had more land.
I keep looking at houses with more land, but to move just for more parking space and a garden big enough to justify a sit on mower seems wrong. Especially when our kids are grown up and will probably be moving out in the next few years.
As above I'd...
I know of someone with a Monte Carlo edition escort Cosworth and a mk 1 Mexico. Both low mileage and hardly ever get driven.
He's an absolute ford fan boy so I kind of forgive him.
there's one round the corner from us on a drive under a car cover. He starts it up every now and again, taking it up the rev range. Sounds nice but I don't think I've ever seen it move.
cheers, my lad said the same (that you can't lock the doors with the boot open), but since he can't find them he started to doubt himself..
On my BMW as long as the drivers door is closed you can lock the doors and it will full lock and arm the alarm once all other doors are close. Which means...
I can get into the car (I have a certain set of skills), but the alarm will sound. However if the key isn’t in the boot I’ll have a noisy Clio and no way of locking it.
My lad has lost his one and only 182 key. He parked on our drive got something out of his boot and came in the house. He didn’t leave the house until he started to look for his key. So it’s either in the house or in the boot (if that’s possible).
Two questions
1. Is it possible to lock the...
Not too struck on Calgary centre, but we went off into the Rockies for a few days and it was awesome. The place is huge, a visit to Canada makes you realise how small and overcrowded the UK is.
