Rather than start a new thread I thought I’d ask in here. Should the power steering reservoir cap have a rubber washer/seal inside. A photo of inside a cap would be appreciated
you've got to remember these feature are just to fill TV time. Plus what cars they end up with depends on what cars and owners the production team can arrange to attend that day.
Being 100% accurate isn't top priory.
going back to the civic in retrospect I think I quite like the front it's the rear that's a bit too mental. Even the lower range models look a bit out there from the rear.
Anyway @MarkCup any update?
As nice as it looks, £10k for a rep!! As much of a ford fan I am that’s too much for me thanks.
I was at a body shop I know on Friday and he had 6 mk3 escorts in of various specs. The best was a S1 rs turbo that he’d just finished restoring (it was sold before he’d finished it).
anyone got a replacement for Moves since it got deleted. I've downloaded the MovesX but it's not as good.
oh a separate note I use an app called Vehicle Smart for mileage and MOT checking
Those strip lights you’ve got, does the wiring enter the fitting at the ends or through the back like a typical strip light. Some of the LED lights I’ve seen have the cable coming out the end, I want concealed wiring. Cheers
Oh and are yours the daylight ones or cool white.
I’ve always wanted to build an older car to my more modern spec. E28 BMW or Sierra RS500 rep would probably be at the top of my list.
There’s people selling replica mk1 escort RS at inflated prices so why not a clio, other then maybe it’s still a little too new.
Oh and you know someone st...
Similar to how my e46 banger went on both front wings. I hated it being there even though it’s a banger. I kept a look out for second hand wings in the same colour but none came up. Even if they did they’d have rust starting in the same areas. I ended up having two new front wings fitted, which...
You see so many far with under inflated and/or bald tyres already. Getting people to consider tyre age will be impossible.
An age check should be added to the MOT. I was amazed that the ones we had didn’t have any cracks or signs of aging other than poor grip.
Watched a Jay Leno YouTube video the other day were he drove someone’s Enzo. After a couple of miles he told the owner (who was sat in passenger seat) the tyres were old and he needed some new ones.
Old tyres are how accidents happen is how he put it to him.
Just an update on this, I finally got to take the car out today with the new tyres (Nankang NS2) on and the difference is massive. No pulling left/right at all. Just goes to show even those the old tyres had loads of tread on them they were useless and dangerous.
Nice, m-sport routings do look good.
My silver-grey 320d SE made it to spa franorchamps last month. Rammed to the roof with camping gear. Needed a new clutch and DM earlier this year, boo goo.
how come he let you have alcantara and not me. Maybe he just saves it for posher cars, he said something about having trouble with stretching it over the wheel I wanted.
we've just got one retrimmed by Royal and I wanted alcantara top and bottom sections but he advised against it.
The quality of the re-trim is excellent. I did want to use snappy but couldn't get hold of him.
