have to agree with knuckles in videos they dont sound all that but in real life they are just perfect, especially once you "learn" it and know where the points in the rev range for bangs are!
not much changed with the car been working 7 days a week with a 50 mile round trip so its just been...
brilliant thats what i was looking for cheers, ive struggled to find a good keyboard in recent years and i suppose thats because i prefer the feel of mechanical ones! thats why ive never bothered changing from the Dell one that came with it!.
ill have a read up online and get one ordered :)
2 bolts at the manifold and a clamp at the other side of the cat, remove it, bash it out with the trolley jack handle and then back together lol mine used to pop like mad!
wouldn't be a problem i sit quite stright up
i see them referring to mechanical keys etc, these ok to type on? im still using the standard dell keyboard and like the look of the backlit ones
i keep seeing these backlit gaming keyboards, this might seem like a silly question but are these ok to use as a normal keyboard or do they have any downsides?
maby contact Paul and see if he will come to you if you hire out a local set of rollers, will cost you a flight and probably a fortune but It saves driving abz to Leeds and back!
the dephaser being nackered shouldn't knock the timing out, if you tell him to change the dephaser your timings still going to be out as he's ballsed it up..
a fucked dephaser will be noisy but the car will still run spot on.
on the motorway its just as quiet as standard, pulling to the redline it's just marginally louder than standard, half throttle around town it's marginally louder, but low down and mid range on full throttle it sounds like thunder it's a perfect sound!
mine was intermittent on my flamer too, worked when it wanted to, new switch solved it.
remember removing the switch starts a flow of box oil, have plenty rags on the floor and be quick lol
I've had loads of them and never had a single issue, always found them bullet proof, they horror stories are usually someone trying to fix a problem like a failing fuel pump by running injector cleaner thru it and kicking its nuts in for 1000 miles!
i was going to get the belts done as soon as i got it up the road and took it easy the full way up, then I kicked its f**king head in for nearly a year on they belts, its sound hahah!
