To a certain extent this is fairly true as the PO had scraped both front and rear bumpers on walls... So was my main inclination to actually repping it as I may aswell buy nicer looking parts if i'm having to spend money anyway.

I know this isn't a scenic forum but know a lot of you know your stuff! Basically my brother has a scenic and it wouldn't start on key recently. Playing with the loom under the rear seats seemed to sort out that ignition trouble and it now starts. It had a new battery after the last one died...

It suprises me really as when you actually look at it next to another car it's not even noticeable! The 3/4 plates (short sided) are more obvious though than these.
