To be honest the built in apps offer the perfect functionality for the watch there’s not many others you need.
Got the Hue app on there for controlling the lights at home plus an app for multi-factor login at work, but you still get the notifications from your iPhone even if the associated app...
Yeh as above, SSD can transform an old machine.
My Win PC has an SSD system drive so it boots nice a quickly then 3 mechanical HDDs for storing all the media, but only because 10TB of SSD is still a bit pricey.
The last X and XS are both great phones but I’m proper impressed by the series 4 watch. I had one of the original ones and it was a bit tired after 4 years, plus the bigger screen... well worth the cash.
A bit... and also the way they integrate with all the other apple stuff. Once they’re paired with one of your devices they become available to play to from all your other stuff (mac, iPad etc). That said, the sound quality is spot on for the money. Could probably get better, but they’re a decent...
For £170 you could have the Bose SoundSport in ear, everyone around me at work has them and they come highly recommended.
Personally I use AirPods as they fit comfortably and are a bit cheaper (and coz Apple)
The most fun I’ve had so far was trying to steal a train... they did not like that! $7.50 bounty!!! ?
Next time i’ll Be sure to get rid of the guards first
Still enjoying it, sometimes the prolonged horse riding gets a bit dull but cinematic view is a saviour. Overwhelmed at just how much there is to do, one of those games you can lose many hours to
Looks like there will be new 'iPhone X style' iPad Pros with FaceID and no home button as well as Mac Mini update (First since 2014) and a new Macbook Air-style replacement.
And a new Apple Pencil...
I'm also hoping they finally announce the launch of AirPower and new AirPod cases
Steaming...
Sadly, all good things must come to an end.
Didn't know how I'd feel selling it, but having seen @AndyBMX drive it away this evening, I miss it already.
Hope he enjoys it as much as I did and hopefully see his project thread sometime soon.
Yaaaaas. Would usually buy physical but walking to Sainsbury’s isn’t worth the £10 saving. Battle royal seems good so far, but as before it’s just fortnite with better graphics
Friend of mine had a FF182 and I've got a 200 on H&R springs, i'd probably agree the 200 is a little nicer, still a bit jiggly on some surfaces but generally a good feeling of the road which is good as long as you don't live in Beirut
I'm thinking of getting a cellular one even though Three don't support it yet, more to futureproof it, £100 so that if Three do support it in the next few years i'm covered
Going to order once delivery estimates are a bit shorter.
Apparently if you've got an original Apple Watch (as I do) then it's a no brainer.
Shame it's now £530 for the spec I want
Mac and Windows both come with sufficient firewall protection to prevent most port based attacks, and a competent AV product will detect and remove 99% malware.
Standard other stuff to consider, make backups so if anything does happen you can just restore from that and I think you'll be golden...
Been on mac for 9 years, never had a virus or malware (disclaimer: am an IT professional).
That said, when my aunt got some malware, all it took to rid the machine of it was a single run of malwarebytes (Free) to clean it up.
Would recommend Sophos Home (also free) anti virus as that will help...
part of it's being lazy and not doing those things in advance but its also good knowing you can stream video, music, download apps anytime without having to worry (Three - unlimited data simo plan), as for wifi, the gov office I work in has highly filtered wifi which is useless, and 4G is london...
There was an expired blue badge for a different vehicle reg on the dashboard and a handwritten note apologising for not renewing it.
Guess there's probably a decent business for black-market blue badges
There always has been the price difference but you really do get what you pay for, not necessarily on technical components but on longevity, service/support, usability.
And the screens are amazing, 2560x1600 on a 13" screen definitely trumps 1080 on a 17" screen.
