    Philips Hue and Living colours

Bought that kit at full price a while back, so can vouch for how good it is, and £60 off rrp is decent too.

    The New Phone Thread

Lightening quick, can't deny, although you miss all your notifications (although as it's android i assume you can tell it to stay on the lock screen) Wonder if there's some sort of trade off in accuracy/security with it processing that quickly. Does it use the same IR system as the X? i.e...

Quite a lot of bezel for 2017! And camera looks like it’s straight off an iPhone 8 Plus, but I do like OnePlus and you can’t sniff at that value. They’ll have some fans as it’s still got a headphone jack, but I wonder how the face unlock will get on

    Apple 8/X

I’m not the biggest fan of on screen buttons, but do like having a back, home and multitasking button on my S6, however after not very long I do like the gestures on the X, other than reachability sometimes being a b*****d it works pretty well Edit: and the battery is f**king awesome (30% at...

    iGP Manager

Downloaded this the other day and it's quite a fun little game, just got to remember to do the setups for each race!

    Apple 8/X

Still lightning port on the X, and yeh, I think they'll stick with it for a while as they only switched from 30-pin 4/5 years ago, would have made sense for them to go usb-c then but ah well

What have you done to your car today ???

Kicked the bumper to get the number plate light working again

    Apple 8/X

There’s a whole article on MacRumors about better implementations of control centre, it’s a long reach to the top right so using it to control lights etc is a bit slower now. Someone suggest force touch upwards from the bottom or in from the side

    Apple 8/X

Just the X, swiping up on any other device brings up control centre, will be interesting to see if they change this as currently control centre is in different places for devices running identical OS versions

    Sounds overly convenient :unamused:

    Apple 8/X

You can either flick up and hold to enter multitasking, or if you swipe right across the very bottom of the screen you can get to the previous app. Never used the force touch version of that feature on my 7 but its so quick and easy on the X i find myself using it all the time. Go settings...

I'd double check on the apple store, They always used to sell straps separately, they were just usually depressingly expensive

    The Apple Watch Thread

Been on a chat with Apple for about 90 mins this morning as my watch won't pair with my X, so looks like i'll have to take it in, maybe they'll give me a series 3 if they can't fix it haha. The cellular does somewhat appeal as I like running with just my watch and no phone, but EE's sim only...
