G'day! Im looking for someone that does a brembo, AP or willwood big brake conversion for a clio 172? anyone any ideas cos i cant seem to find anything?? many thanks in advance

this happened to me mate on a mk 1 172. took it to renault and they had to reprogramme something - think it cost me £26...

think so - what happened to him on the A92?

paid 250 at a local garage in kirkaldy who done the strips handles mirrors and tidied up the front bumper. finish aint that good on the handles or mirrors but the strips are perfect.

I put mine just towards the driver in front of the driver side tweeter on the dash. managed to wire the thing up under the steering column and the wires are all hidden in the rubber door seal on the inside..... just used the tilting bracket supplied. found when its there it isnt in your face but...

^^^^ already got an origin b2 mate - it has gps but no speed camera derector detects mobile speed cameras until its too late - as ive found out!!

^^^ cheers mate i totally agree and if you seen the mobile speed camera about here in fife you would see why!! no point me having a 172 any more i might as well drive about in an old clapped out fiesta. ive been done twice in the last 6 months for 82 and 83 mph - speeding i know but people...

lads was only a bit of humour! gee whizz:o some serious people on here.....

when the ignition is off the unit is off too.... i just wired it into the connections going into the bottom of the plug for the cigarette lighter.

ive done this with my origin b2 - should be safe enough if you dont use the cigarette lighter at the same time. It would probably blow the fuse if you used it, but a higher amp one could always be used...

ive been done for speeding by mobile speed cameras twice in the last 6 months...:@ yeah some of you might say dont speed - ut the most recent one ws for doing only 82mph..... 100+ and i might actually agree. however ive got an origin b2 which went off but probably the samer time the picture...

Ive got a mk1 172 which has these crappy plastic sill protectors. I decided to give my renault garage a call to see if they had any stainless ones - the guy said he couldnt tell me unless i had a registration number of another car so he could check! like whats all that about..... surely theres...

Am after any feed back to see if anyone has had the same problem as me... I orsdered two number plates from http://www.styleride.comwww.styleride.com two weeks ago costing a grand total of 55 quid which was ejected from my bank account rapid style. :@ To this day i still have no number...

I was with Highway and smashed an xr2i which i had for 10 years - loved that car! when i went to make a claim they were such a bunch of Tos*ers i didnt bother... In the end i broke the car up, sold it as parts and made a lot more money out of it. Sadly the XR2i has died - but got a 172 now...
