Welcome to the forum good sir.

Or search 'Clio locking nuts' and buy a set of genuine ones from there. Plenty of bargains to be had :)
If so, what price did you pay? I've been quoted £65 by Danmar in Wigan or £114 from JP in Macclesfield.
For those who don't know, it's chopping the olive join off the car and sleeving it over/under the centre section so that it doesn't blow.
I've not got round to it yet but if I was to do it, I'd probably cover it with alcantara. I can't be bothered removing all the grab handles/blanks as I've heard it's a ballache!
I'm still on my 3GS which I drop almost daily. The screen has a very small crack in it from when I dropped it on solid concrete, but even that won't smash properly!
I'll definitely be getting the plastic one if the spec is the same.

The Trophy definitely has better smiles per gallon. From first getting in and sitting in the Recaros to taking it around a few corners on some decent roads, the overall experience is a...

There are plenty of exhaust options for the Clios, I've currently got a Milltek on the Trophy which sounds decent.
This is worth a watch: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/renault/clio/65346/renault-clio-182-trophy
Of course the Sachs are suited for road life - they are fitted to a road car after all!
With refurbs it depends where you go. I'd highly recommend Cornering Force, I think it was £190 but BG charge...
Good! Trophy is in a league of it's own. They also will hold their value a lot better... 172s are sometimes going for less than a grand in good condition now.
With the Trophy though you must factor in the cost of a damper refurb if it hasn't already been done, as well as the usual servicing...
Some of the later 172s (not Cup) have cruise control. Tbh I have cruise control and hardly use it, there's always at least one person driving like a dick on the motorway so you're never at the same speed for long enough in England!
