    Austin's OEM+ BG 182

Excellent job on the seatbelts, I did mine using the jet wash method and got my mate to hold it in place (gave him a quick blast if he moved), came up like new :)

182 Cat Mod - anyone had it done?

It's the cat that is the problem. A Milltek with a decat, or cat with the mod in this thread fitted would be fine.

Good call - I need something for the corners too.

    Stopping under seat sub vibrating

Yep Trophy Recaros. If you look under the passenger seat you will see the bits I mean. Under the Panda's seats was a flat surface. This one has two raised 'beams' which the sub sits inside, but very snuggly. Velcro doesn't work - it's vibrating on the sides not the underneath.

    Stopping under seat sub vibrating

I still don't think that is required though. It's vibrating on the raised bits underneath the seats - the sides of the sub touch them when it's sat in place. A very snug fit. As said it was fine in my other car which didn't have these - it didn't need securing down in the Fiat.

    Stopping under seat sub vibrating

Yep! It provides sufficient bass even on setting '3'. It goes up to 10 I think! Can be really loud if you want it to be. The old one was decent enough.

    What wash mitt?

That's what happened to my Eurow which is a shame because I enjoyed using it (mainly due to the rubber glove inside it meaning your hand doesn't get wet ).

My Eurow has given up so I need another one. My requirements are as follows: - Cheap - Will last Cheers.

    Stopping under seat sub vibrating

No it's just sat on the floor at the moment. It's quite heavy but can't imagine it packing the foam down completely.

    First proper Mod?

Springs + spacers if it was me.

    Stopping under seat sub vibrating

Will the thickness decrease when the sub is sat on it? It's not overly heavy. Or is it strong stuff? I don't want the sub 'floating'!

182 Cat Mod - anyone had it done?

It says so on their website, he seems a decent guy too so can't see it being a problem. I hope it doesn't fail though!

    Stopping under seat sub vibrating

It's the bits of metal that stick up _|¯|_sub here_|¯|_ like that under the seat that it's rattling on! I need padding on the sides and also the underneath. It was fine in my other car that didn't have those bits How much should I be looking at paying? There's some on eBay but it's £20 for 2x...

182 Cat Mod - anyone had it done?

Quick update: I had the work done today by Danmar exhausts in Orrell, Wigan. It cost me £70 and I also had the centre silencer chopped out. He basically cut the olive join off the cat, welded a massive straight pipe between that and the end of the centre silencer! Not exactly what I wanted (as...

    Stopping under seat sub vibrating

You don't understand... the sub itself is just as decent as a 'proper' sub. It's turned right down at the moment, if I turn the bass up it sounds very good... but the actual whole sub unit shakes making a vibrating/rattling noise which is unbearable. As said in my Panda I didn't have the 'well'...

    Stopping under seat sub vibrating

My sub is shaped like the above. It sits in the passenger footwell. When I had it fitted in my Panda, it was fine because it was sitting on the floor on some carpet. In the Clio however, it sits in a 'well' kind of thing that is only lightly carpeted. Hence, when the bass is turned up, it...

    Sleeved decat

You would have to do it properly at an exhaust place, I'm having mine done tomorrow... I've currently got a sleeved Milltek decat fitted to my Milltek exhaust. The Milltek exhaust is wider where it joins, then it goes back down to 2.5". This allows the decat to slide partly in so that it is...

Can't beat a bit of induction noise ;) Mine still has the centre silencer in place - fully decatted with no silencer sounds like this: http://vimeo.com/1985989
