They're only Eibach Prolines anyway which a lot of people combine with their Cup dampers on their cars.
Why doesn't getting the Sachs refurbed make financial sense? Is your car knackered?
I got mine done for £250 at Cornering Force and they've been spot on since.
Thank you! They seem further in than mine. Can you see the rubbers when looking closely at them? I'll adjust them when I finish work. I didn't put the fuel rail guard back on because the nut had started rounding :( I'll have to get a new nut.
Cheers bud there's some really useful information in this thread. New NGKs are on their way and I'm trying to source some OEM HT leads as cheap as possible just for extra peace of mind. At least I know what's been changed then and when, the coil pack is less than a year old so it rules that out too.
I was considering those Daniel but someone said Magnecor are pretty unreliable which steered me towards OEM (I know these aren't Magnecor but I mean aftermarket parts).
Has anyone else used these without any problems? I don't want a case of 'buy cheap, buy twice'!
They're a good call though, I...
I was working on my car yesterday and struggled to get the injectors back in. I managed it in the end but can still see the rubber (only just, it's pushed right in) and wasn't sure if this wad normal or not. They won't seem to go in any further.
The car drives fine but I don't want to cause any...
I've found a set of OEM HT leads at Wests Renault for £60. Are there any places that do the OEM leads for any less?
I know eurocarparts do OEM items, I got my Valeo coil pack from there cheap after a discount but not sure about leads as I don't even know what make they are.
Proper s**t. I remember being at Rhys' when they were trying to change the coilovers and it took them all night + all the next morning. I went back and they were still sat working on it! Saw sorted it iirc.

I checked that they were all securely in their places, however tomorrow or whenever I get the new leads I'll swap them back around and make sure they're in again and see if the problem comes back. Definitely out of the ordinary but the members in this thread have been a massive help.
A big...
Might as well get it all done at once. Where is best for the parts, GSF/eurocarparts? I want OEM leads and NGK plugs but I know some places often use non-genuine parts.
Sack it I'm going with OEM, I'm sick of spending money recently! Saying that though, would it be worth changing the spark plugs as well? I didn't actually check those but I don't know what I'd be checking for anyway.
Going off my service book they were last changed as 48k (29/1/09), it's now on...
Yep - I don't usually do earlies and I've got 9 days in a row doing them starting tomorrow :dapprove: trust the Trophy to throw a hissy fit before it has to do a bit of work.
Are there any difference in standard or uprated ones? Are they even uprated? Or just a different colour? (I want some...
