Are the newer ones D-types ?
I'm on about the Old Mk1 Ph3 D-Type. 8v (D7F)
I thought the D.I.E.T engine was only in Mk1 Ph3 and Mk2 Ph1
Saying that i keep forgetting they still call them the (D4F)
His not my normal mot man as this was a Class 7 truck He was a moody so and so.
Had a bad attitude ever since I asked him to make sure he marked every thing with the yellow pen.
But I think i'm going have to go back and ask him.
Would it have to be a big leak for them to fail or any small...
Looking for some good software that can sit on the system tray and will set off an alarm at a set time with a massive alert message.
:-) Any one have any recommended software
Just a rough idea what has to be changed to make this engine a manual. Any one think of any thing else?
I'm not sure about the ECU + wiring side of it.
Gearbox.
Gear linkage
Interior Gear stick + nob
Interior plastic center section
Throttle body. ???
Brake pedal
Clutch pedal + cable.
Take the weight off it. WD40 it so its dripping like a virgin.
Then use either a slide hammer. Or a long M10 bolt with a socket + a nut to tighten the socket onto the outer caseing.
