I know the meganes suffer from this a lot and there is someone on the megane site that just sells the part that has failed, so its a case of getting it out and pressed back in.

that good is it, well it will and won't be done on a drive, it'll be stripped but then taken to a garage to get old one out and new one pressed in. I'm guessing that's the worst part getting the bearing out and pressing it in?
Just a quick question for anyone that has changed them, is it a straight forward job, looking at the suspension diagram it looks easy enough. but looking for first hand experience and any tips?

Nope, just need to take them apart and clean it all up and free the pads of the caliper and jobs a good un, only problem that someone is likely to encounter is the dam pins that hold the pads in, the sieze in solid if not maintained. Then its a case of new pins as you have to cut the old ones out!
To be honest he wasn't even going that fast - But as said the kid being a tool and prob not knowing the road etc... Altho i think with a kid that young in an M3 don't think he'll need to worry about money
If its renault,l then surely they are just able to hook it up to clip and check? has it got the facility to check this, also what makes them think it has had a map? if they cant find out if it has or not then they are still to blame.

I know its not a real F1, But vinyls were on car when bought from Renault, and the door one is missing as it needed repaired, cant justify the expense of a new vinyl, so will be taking the other door one off to, and just leaving the front & Rear as i like them.

Been waiting on an update, one of the few i follow, the split on the HT lead def wont help, i had a set of Magnecor on my old car and causing no end of miss-fire, then threw the OEM ones back on and boom, problem solved!
Oh i forgot to mention, dont throw your old pads out yet, need them so you can push the caliper back against the new one so you dont damage the new one! also best way to clean the calipers up - i'll give you the dremel and a wire brush attachment then you just need some caliper paint and jobs a...
