197 Front Wheel Bearing

Just a quick question for anyone that has changed them, is it a straight forward job, looking at the suspension diagram it looks easy enough. but looking for first hand experience and any tips?

That's not what i want to hear lol, is it cause you need to take the whole hub off etc, or just trying to separate it? Any tips? lol

No it's a total t**t of a job... I have only done x1 197 wheel bearing and a couple of Meg II's which are similar and it's a rate C U Next Tuesday.

Not really the kind of job to be done on a driveway.

that good is it, well it will and won't be done on a drive, it'll be stripped but then taken to a garage to get old one out and new one pressed in. I'm guessing that's the worst part getting the bearing out and pressing it in?
