In that case you're mate will still have to prove that. It's pretty difficult to argue rear ending someone unless you've got good proof i.e. dash cam or witness.

Pretty sure if he's gone in to the back of someone he's f*cked. Unless he can prove the other guy was at fault.

Depends on so many things mate. Pretty difficult question to answer. Boxes are so cheap, get it replaced.

Hi guys, Just purchased a new Ducati, the paint isn't clear coated so naturally I want to give it some protection. I have some auto finesse carnuba at home, just wondering if there's anything you guys would recommend at all that isn't mega £££££ I've seen things like opti coat mentioned etc...

Sure I heard somewhere that the standard exhaust is actually more expensive than an aftermarket stainless job... Sure someone will confirm or deny.
