i find my ph1 a nightmare on the motorway but it does have a loud exhaust and stiff suspension lol, i avoid motorways in it! on the rare ocassion i am on them in it though i find myself doing stupid speeds lol.
i was doing an average of 30k a year this time last year thats why i bought the GT...
i do replace the air filter myself it has a pipercros pannel filter in it, however as the car is brand new, i expect it serviced to renault guidelines which i was sure they hadn't.
just because they are cheap doesnt mean they are no good, i done a track day on T1-R's and they never let me down, they were destroyed at the end of it but hey ho @ £30 a tyre thats not bad for a full day!
hehe trying to think from memory, 22 or 24mm to remove the rear disc nut, and a 16mm or something similar to remove the rear callipers is all you need, and a screwdriver or something flat to wind the caliper back (rear wind back not push like the front)
remember when you remove the rear disc...
cheers, i done about 12k on the paper filter 6k on my pannel filter and already the paper ones pretty dirty, however if its 36k then thats fine, just thought they were trying to pull a fly one!
because its a full LED unit, its booked in for next tuesday to get done as it wasnt in stock however...
fuel filter on the older 1.5's was 72k from memory, not sure about newer ones.
to top it off, my high level brakelight still not changed as its not in stock apparently however a quick phonecall to their parts dept confirms it is, my service due indicator is still on, and it ended up getting...
for anyone who works in the dealers, as the title, nothing in the service book about it, nothing in the service scedule online about it, just got my car back from 18k service with the original filter still fitted, whats the crack? when should it be done?
cheers
do the cars with bluetooth not get this anyway as i saw a guy in france flashed his DCi so it showed the RS logo rather than the normal renault logo that ours shows
i would be going for the bluetooth upgrade anyway as my GT has it and i agree the screen is much nicer, so i suppose for the sake of £120 its probably worth it! ill be in touch richard when i shift my ph1! if i can shift it!
as above a set of sticky tyres is about it withoutspending a few grand, as nrwer versions of the f4r engine have came out they have had more and more power leaving us witj even less gains to be had from the traditional tuning!
id have it, its worth twice that in parts regardless of millage! Perfect car to get u thru the winter, when i got my first dci a few years back i paid off all my debt within a year thanks to it haha
not a fan of running with no arch liner i had to run without one for a month and it may be coincedence but my alternator AND aux belt idler AND aux belt tensioner all seazed within a month and they were exposed to the elements, as was the cambelt area! now repaired and sorted!
