yeah because u save loads of time quick shifting slowing down...
The point is not runing the gearbox.
In the Clio cup cars, we use the clutch on the downshift but not the upshift.
I read somewhere that it can be done by elongating the bolt hole in the hub.
What about elongating the holes in the coilovers, surely that will be easier and a little safer?
Can anyone think of a reason why i shouldnt do it?
Thanks
quite normal for the car not to warm up correctly, mine sits just bellow running temp until its had to work a little.
The water level will go down once the engine is warm, but it should go back up when it cools.
Fair play for checking all this tho, i know quite a few people who never bother...
Had one for 2 weeks, raced against my mate in his trophy (remap and exhaust), the trophy absolutely handed it too me.
The rx8 was rubbish, for speed.
Comfy tho.
The car was piss easy to control when the back end was out with paradas on, loads of time to correct it and feed power in. The PE2s tend to grip up and try to snatch...
Im not clueless about chassis setup so seriously if anyone wants to go out in it...
There is quite a few people who...
I know it says dont inflate over 40psi, but i dont really care!
My car handles very well.
60psi reduces the contact patch of the rear tyres to help them brake away, road conditions the tyre pressures dont exactly move much.
If i took it on track i would lower them slightly. (50ish)
But at...
I have PE2s on the front of mine, and had paradas on the rear. The car oversteered dangerously (was fun tho!).
I put some PE2s on the rear with about 2.5mm on. i have 60psi in the rear, and i struggle to get the back out.
Personally i would go for PE2s!
But that quote is about average i think.
There may be a thread about this already, but i couldnt find it.
The car has a second hand k-tec ITB kit on it. The previous car which had the kit, was live mapped at interpro (near bristol).
I know this is a difficult question to give an accurate answer for, but how much roughly will it...
