yes the rest of the 2005s are over 3k but they arnt cat D's. wouldnt touch it as they are a pain to shift in the future i agree with daniel, probably a cat D thats now a cat D with a dent
ouch, just shows you! ive got a set of eibachs on my ph1 that are about 10yr old not a single bit of paint left on them and they still perform like they are new, was going to get them powdercoated and refit but to be honest i think ill replace them as dont want to risk them failing on track and...
done properly their is gains to be had. mine was RR at over 80bhp in 2006 was 82 or 83 from memory, 5hp may not sound like much but its a big gain on a 75hp engine, of course its a lot of money for a s**t gain, but it was fun at the time, hey i spent over £1500 for under 20hp on my 172!!
you...
good gains to be had from the 1.6 16v, its up to yourself if you consider it worth while, never exactly cost effective remapping a fairly standard n/a engine, but their is gains to be had
my ph1 sits for 6 months sometimes, starts on the dot after that, usually needs a jump start although ive just changed the battery, it sat through 6 months of -20c at points this winter, 4 of which with a flat battery and it started spot on after that!
you will likely find the wiring is already there behind the bumper however your UCH wont support front fogs so even if you do wire them up and change the stalk, they wont work.
id fit them and just not wire up
you appear to have the touch of a baby elephant on the accelerator, does no one heel and toe on track, it scares me listning to some of the videos, no wonder people say the gearboxes are soft!!
my 65 used to do about 75mpg on a decent motorway run at 65mph lol i used to average 56mpg in my 100 but it was mapped and driven hard. my standard DCi 106 does about 50mpg every day, but i only do short journeys in it now! averaged 60mpg to FCS and back (700 odd miles)
i hear there is a new venue next year so this might sort things but imo most car shows ive been to are on a grass surfance, now obviously if it rains this can become a problem but if its a nice day like it usually is you can all sit about on the grass, bbq etc
i wasnt really into the japspeed...
depends, if its a manufacturers equivelant warranty then id consider it, if its just one of these aftermarket ones that arnt worth the paper they are printed on then id give it a miss!
this is why i like having 2 cars somthing to modify that doesnt need to be a compromise and somthing quiet/cumfy/cheap to run for every day.
manufacturers seem to be taking insperation from owners and the mods they carry out so production cars need less and less to modify, look at the 197/200...
my sister has a lupo, dont know if the diesels are better but hers is a piece of s**t, im pulling the head off it this week to rebuild the top end as its drinking oil.
interior is terribly made, gearbox is terrible, brakes are crap, handles rubbish. i dont like them!
that silver one looks decent and as said it looks like he knows his stuff, egr has been replaced and belts done. keep in mind billabong models have a horrible interior, well actually its not to bad still sports seats just a weird colour.
80s are £20 to tax now iirc
cool, just wondering, dont know if it was just me but i think it would have been better if everyone was told stick to say 20mph and just do a lap. as said above it was probably just due to the guy leading us round stopping then giving it beans that then caused everyone to do it! im just gelous i...
had an awesome day, didnt get a chance to speak to any of the members, i was pretty much on my own with very little scottish lot there this year! highlight of my day was sitting back watching all the guys walking up taking pictures of all the cars, skipping mine then taking pictures of the next...
