hi mate its a mk3 ph2 GT, thats just a photoshop, i bought a set but when test fitting i had the same issue so was going to need spacers and 4 17" tyres so decided to scrap the idea, still looking for something else though!
I thought parade laps were like 2 cars wide cruising round giving the lights a flash etc but it was more like a traffic light grand prix!
Was a little chavvy lol felt 17 again!
Who got out of shape and locked up? A cup....
was a fuckin waste of time, it took an hour from leaving the cs stand to getting on the track doing one lap and getting back to the stand, stop start on the track so we could all razz about and use it as free track time because were too tight to buy it! since everyone else was doing it i managed...
im no expert but ive had the problem on a few clios.
first thing is check for leaking rear dampers, you will usually be able to see the oil running down them and all the s**t from the road sticking to it, this is 99% of the time what causes it.
next is check for uneaven tyre wear, if the...
valid point but who wants to put a big chav exhaust on a small engine car you just look like an idiot? lol ive been there done that and did look like an idiot, taking 15 seconds to pull to the red line in first gear
ph2 non rs over a ph1 non RS any day of the week.
and im a ph1 172 ***** as most know! i cant see why anyone would pay £1500 for that never mind what hes asking for it!, non RS clios are all boring, your as well driving a Diesel at least then they are cheap to run and refined!
i quite like that however i think to pull off the wheels it needs more stance, needs slammed, spacers and loose the w**k flaps. not to keen on the CS stickers either, less is more
depends what your after, clio 3 is a different ball game in refinement and build quality (im compairing non RS models, ive never had a play about with a 197/200, but my GT is similar to one!)
my 172 feels ancient compaired to my clio 3 but the 172 feels so old skool to drive the way its so...
so not the bumper ones then?
they just slide on yep, think you put them on and push them towards the rear of the car (either that or push them towards the front)
the engines are bullet proff, as long as the belts are done they wont give you any bother. alternators, starters and all other things are pretty reliable too rarely hear of them going, heard of a few PAS pumps going but they are an easy fix.
gearboxes have a strange reputation of being soft...
yep 1.5 k9k dci, standard a 1.6 16v has legs on it from 0-30mph, after that its even until 80mph then the 100 starts to pull a bit.
remapped its a different story!
plus they are twice as good to drive than the other non RS sports inc dci65/80
