¼ Mile At Pod - Saturday October 19th

I think i'd rather just have straight up racing than handicap/bracket races, last time I beat a few faster cars because my launches and changes were better, drag racing isn't all about power, the underdogs can stick it to better cars on occasion.

    What's your car called?

The Dog Kennel. Because my dog's been in it almost as many times as I have, and the inside is permanently covered in dog hair and mud. Nicknames are fine, female names are bent.

¼ Mile At Pod - Saturday October 19th

I think people will be showing up through out the day as the track's open for 12 hours, I don't think my tyres will last that long. lol

    Best remap ever!

That's why you should stay in school kids, then you won't type £12,345 instead of £1,234.50, at least I assume he meant £1,234.50, otherwise that's some strong old crack he's smoking. I wish I had gears and steering enhance. :dapprove:

    Favourite clio shape?

You'll have to wait until you see me in an MX5 or Audi TT, that's what the homo brigade seem to be bumming these days.

    clio 182 boot lock problems

The mechanisms probably given up and need replacing, we've all had it at one point or another, you'll have to climb in the back, unscrew the plastic cover, then physically pull the lever to open it. The boot mechanism is about £30 from Renault, quite simple to replace yourself, the whole...

    Boot locking/unlocking fault

Well if you're unlocking the car and only opening the boot, then the car will lock itself unless you open the drivers door. The boot light's probably just broken.

    Favourite clio shape?

Mk1 Valver/Williams. It was the first Clio I ever drove, i've always thought it was the most aggressive, compact and purposeful looking shape. They're quite a rare sight on the roads these days.

    1/4 mile drag day

I did take the dog down the vets today and I had a passenger, on the way back I had a few good blasts on Coventry's many duel carriageways, plus a naughty traffic light GP with an Audi. :quiet: (60 road) Still feels as fast as it's ever been, I guess i'll find out after my first burnout.

    1/4 mile drag day

The belts were 5 years old when they were changed, Fred said the timing was well out, maybe it's in mind because the engine now feels tight, whereas before they were changed it felt raw.
