I'll be lucky to do a 15.00 again, car's not been the same since the belts were changed,
I think the timing was out by an amount that made it quicker,
now it's timed properly it just doesn't feel as quick.
I beat Stokie in a straight up race that day, but my best time was 15.00,
his was something impossible like 14.4, I reckon he had a tail wind that run. lol
I don't normally start threads about individual cars, but I though this one deserved it.
I think i've found a new baller spec dog kennel! (if I ever win the lottery)
The noise!
Ph2 Clio knobs have to be hacked off as they're glued on,
easier to just replace the insert.

Well Daniel said :
£105 track day
£40 Travel lodge Friday night
£30 dinner & booze
One and a half tanks of super will be the best part of £100 quid.
So £250 is a realistic amount for the entire thing.
Well I might be finding out if I can get £250 quid together for Llandow,
i'll know by the end of the week if I can afford it.
Pretty confident I can make it, just don't want to commit before I have the money.
Although I don't class drag days as a track day,
just a cheap day out with the lads...
Such a good idea to convert one to a work van,
if you're going to be driving about in it all day, might as well be something enjoyable.
Plus converting a van into an 172 would way more expensive.
Pair of f*cking benders!
Tbh it's probably a good thing you've bottled it,
I doubt you'd be able to handle the embarrassment of the dog kennel destroying you.
Don't be a girl, £30 to go head to head with your mates all day,
sounds like a good f*cking laugh to me.
Yes it's not a proper track day, but it's a cheap day out with the lads blasting cars,
what's not to like?
LOL @ everyone saying it's a shame to ruin it,
it's French it came ruined from the factory, plus it's only a Clio ffs.
No one's ever made a 172 into work van, so for that reason it's a great idea.
Yep although he f*cked up his start, but winnings winning, inch or a mile iirc.
I gave what's his name in the Skyline a run for his money too,
took him the whole 1/4 mile to catch me, only did me by a car length at the line.
