ive had apex -60mm springs with apex dampers on one clio and just -60mm apex springs on my dci and the one with dampers was pretty good, stiff but rebounded fine, the one on just springs was a mess lol the dampers were on 140k right enough! lol
someone lost the spacers on my mrs one and it started making noises when cornering, went in under warranty and they had to replace both discs, pads, stub axel, abs sensor and wheel bolts as it fucked it!

21yr old - bought ph1 172 and replaced DCi 100 with GT DCi 106...
lol i didnt make 191 however i did make 173 as standard on falklands rollers when all other standard 172s were doing the usual 165 ish and 182s doing 170 odd.
same story a year later with inlets, 182 manifold, decat, stealth and itg, 188bhp 15hp gain seems about right for that lot, went from...
looking to upgrade the audio in my DCi, basically what im looking for is something thats hidden away but packs a nice punch! im looking for a small sub and a set of front components, i dont mind the sub taking up boot space as long as its minimal, but interested if theres anything that fits...
id get the timing checked, as there isnt anything in it between the 2, my last 172 had a few goodies 182 manifold, matched inlets, decat, k-tec stealth etc and ran 190bhp and i chased one from a rolling 40mph, i started behind him and didnt pass him till 140 odd so a standard one should be on...
plugs are something crazy like 72k/5yrs from memory they are about £50.
i changed mine recently purely because i didnt know what plugs were in it and i wanted the proper NKGs in it, up to yourself

because there is no fog light blanks for the ph3 bumper so cars made after the ph3 date in poverty spec came with a ph2 front bumper due to no fog lights, they still had ph3 front grille and ph3 dash etc
i just drive down early sunday morning get there for opening then drive back up in the afternoon, taking the diesel cant bear that journey in the 172 lol

check for a boost leak, i had one on my old 65 and it lost performance had no turbo and used to shoot out black smoke until i sorted it. check the sensors on the C pipe going from turbo to inlet, they blow out sometimes

NO clios other than renault sport models had a sport badge under the renault badge on the boot.
there was a ph1 sport non rs it didnt have any sport badging from memory, but possibly sport badges on the bump strips cant remember.
