    My New (old) Ford Orion.

What are you honestly going to do with an Orion once you've restored it? Seeing as your misses has a decent car and you've only got the flat bed, are you going to use it as a daily?

    My New (old) Ford Orion.

If after a close inspection it's in a bad state just sell it on, hopefully you'll get your money back, then put that money into the next one. Personally I don't know what you see in them, i've always seen them as a sh*t version of an Escort, but then again i've had quite attractive girlfriends...

    Rare as hell Invacar

Now I know most of you will have never seen one of these, but when I was a kid these were everywhere in the early 80s. The government used to lease them to invalids as part of their benefits, however it's been illegal to drive them on UK roads since 2003, due to the fact you'd definitely die if...

    show us yer other car!

I don't think the op means what cars have you owned, he means what cars/bikes do you own as well as your Clio.

Cosworth powered Mk1 Escort for £7k?

Surely he's missed a 1 off the front of that number, because that's one hell of a car for £7k(ish), i'm guessing that offers over £7k means he's hoping for a hell of a lot more? http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/ford/escort/cosworth-powered-mk1-1968/907935

    Random electrical problem.

This isn't about my car, it's DCI Raz's car that's gone wrong and he's out there somewhere with a car that's playing up, so he's asked me to ask you lot. It's randomly cutting out completely without warning lights or anything, turn ignition off and it'll restart, it gets worse with aircon on...

Holy sh*t £100k?!!! Part of UK history though so it's to be expected I guess, that's one hell of a getaway car. I bet whoever they nicked that off was gutted.

A Mk1 LC is a dream car of mine, £25k-£35k though and that's the entry level price. lol

I quite like Cortina's these days.

I've been looking at them all day, i've decided that a Mk2 is going to be my future project car, as they're one of the cheapest classics out there. Tax exempt and a bit of classic car insurance research had told me that a fresh policy with zero no claims, would be in the £250-£450 range, so it...

I quite like Cortina's these days.

The more I look the more I find, the more I want, if only I had the money right now i'd be starting a project thread. http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/ford-cortina-mk2/1003769776 £1550, NI as well so i'm guessing that means you'd just need to go and get it rather than importing it?

182 gearbox onto 172 engine & no reverse?

It took two attempts to get my linkage sorted recently, 1st had got increasingly harder to select over the past year, so a mechanic mate of mine adjusted it for me, the next dy when I tried to reverse off my drive it went into 1st every time. I went back to my mates garage and he re-adjusted it...
