What are you honestly going to do with an Orion once you've restored it?
Seeing as your misses has a decent car and you've only got the flat bed,
are you going to use it as a daily?
If after a close inspection it's in a bad state just sell it on, hopefully you'll get your money back,
then put that money into the next one.
Personally I don't know what you see in them, i've always seen them as a sh*t version of an Escort,
but then again i've had quite attractive girlfriends...
I'd have to have that hefty b*stard sat on my lap he weighs 40kgs though,
so i'd probably end up a cripple anyway, at least i'd be in the right car. lol
Now I know most of you will have never seen one of these,
but when I was a kid these were everywhere in the early 80s.
The government used to lease them to invalids as part of their benefits,
however it's been illegal to drive them on UK roads since 2003,
due to the fact you'd definitely die if...
Surely he's missed a 1 off the front of that number,

This isn't about my car, it's DCI Raz's car that's gone wrong and he's out there somewhere
with a car that's playing up, so he's asked me to ask you lot.
It's randomly cutting out completely without warning lights or anything,
turn ignition off and it'll restart, it gets worse with aircon on...
Holy sh*t £100k?!!!
Part of UK history though so it's to be expected I guess,
that's one hell of a getaway car.
I bet whoever they nicked that off was gutted.
I've been looking at them all day, i've decided that a Mk2 is going to be my future project car,
as they're one of the cheapest classics out there.
Tax exempt and a bit of classic car insurance research had told me that a fresh policy with zero no claims,
would be in the £250-£450 range, so it...
The more I look the more I find, the more I want,
if only I had the money right now i'd be starting a project thread.

£1550, NI as well so i'm guessing that means you'd just need to go and get it rather than importing it?
It took two attempts to get my linkage sorted recently,
1st had got increasingly harder to select over the past year, so a mechanic mate of mine adjusted it for me,
the next dy when I tried to reverse off my drive it went into 1st every time.
I went back to my mates garage and he re-adjusted it...
