It span twice as fast as my old one, so it's still good.
It might just need a kick up the arse to get it started.
I can hear the fuel pump prime, the throttle body twitches, it makes all the right noises
and the other battery was fully charged.
It doesn't turn over at all, just click, no immobiliser light or nothing,
no battery light either which is new, but all the internal electrics work fine.
The starter motor is the one you sent me Daniel, it span a lot better than my old one,
we tested both of them off the car.
When I get the...
I've tried every combination of opening the doors, pressing the button,
turning the key, it's just dead, if it was a horse i'd f*cking shoot it.
I think you're right Rob, I think i'll get my cousin to take it to Freds on his lowloader,
f*cking sick of the thing now.
I'll just have to wait for...
I need to move my car so i've stuck in the battery from another car,
but the car won't turn over at all, turn the key and 'click' dead!
I tried jump starting it from the other car but my alarm would not stop going off,
and could no be turned off, so I swapped the battery but it's still f*cked...
We need CS members that are local to him to show up and look at it,
one with a Williams, one with a Ph1 172, a Ph2 172, a 182, a 197 & a 200.
Then turn round to him and say 'Right mate, which 2.0L Clio engine is it again'? lol
Other than the induction kit, his engine bay and a Dymaniques engine bay still look identical to me,
we still have zero proof it's a 2.0L in his car, just this badmanz word on it innit bruv.
He said 'i've had it checked out' how exactly, compression test?
He seems like the kind of pellet that...
Ok his engine :
1.6 Dymanique engine :

Am I missing...
Chris, tell him your so excited about test driving a real 2.0L Clio,
as you've been having to make do with a 182 and that's only got the 2.0L RenaultSport engine in it.....innit.
Chris please ask him how come when you type 2.0L Clio engine into Google images it's a different engine that comes up,
but when you type 1.6L Clio engine, his engine comes up.
Ahh right'O, i've never taken the bottom one off so didn't know that. :)
I've replaced the engine mounts before, so I supported the engine that time,
but I had no reason to remove the inlets.
I learn something new every week on here. :approve:
Why would he need to support the engine if he's only taking the inlets off?
I took the upper inlet off the other week and it couldn't have been simpler,
you just unplug all the hoses, HT leads & sensors, then undo the bolts and Bobs your uncle.
10 second search on google.
The pipe comes from the acoustic valve behind the headlight and clips into the airbox,
if you don't have one it's possible someone may have removed your acoustic valve,
or just removed the pipe in an attempt to get more induction noise.
You could just get a length...
The RR guys told us to add 15% for drivetrain loss and something to do with the rollers.
So mine was making 155.6bhp atw, so add 15% and you get 173.6bhp atf.
Edit : Actually I just did some maths and 155.6 + 12%= 174.272
and 155.6 + 15%= 178.94.
