Right then Im thinking it's time to sort out my old ITB filter setup up issue. At the mo im running ktec DTH kit (without the slam panel) with the latest KTEC filter but wanna sort a proper job.

Im with martin on here ran sportlines and AST top mounts on my cup for two years and have just gone back to standard. Dont get me wrong solids give awesome feel esp on a lovely sweeping fast road or on track but for me on everyday use they started to do my head in.

In the middle of a front end refresh and almost there but for the inner tie rods. They are so fookin tight its untrue!
Does anyone have any tips? Im using a 32mm viscous spanner with the 36mm end cut off.
Im in the process of giving a refresh of the front end of the cup and i have nearly everything now from Renault. I was just about to order some Lemforder Track rod ends but have remembered i have some new ones in the garage i bought from GSF last year they are made by Vetech.

Awesome bit of kit I fitted the stiff shift and brass bushes and the gearshift is much improved just make sure you fit it correctly and dont rush it as I did.
I couldn't get reverse properly after fitting the kit so I ended up that stripping it down again and found I fitted the reverse cable...
Returned back to my cup at regency stages yesterday to see it sat next to two clio's a white 53 plate cup and a 05 silver 182 with a black bonnet both with cliosport stickers in the window.
Right the saga continues.... I now have reverse 1st,2,3,and fourth but not fifth, it feels like the lever just runs out of sideways travel. Also I get reverse without having to lift the collar so could the stiff shift not be correctly installed cheers for the replies so far
Must be I think it was all fitted correctly just took it apart again to check now back together got 1st and 3rd and 5th now I think I may of uncovered a linkage problem since fitting the kit
I have the car in the air does the supporter wall of the housing have a black plastic part to it from looking underneath.
I have had a play with the linkage but i am getting fifth now but not 1st
Hi yanoo not touched linkage I did think about housing being wrong way but it only seemed to line up only one way need to check again when it gets light
