I don't see why not, but I'm sure you can get cheap Toad Ai606's on eBay. The one you posted looks alright but might be a bit cheap ie/ flimsy, things going wrong etc. Up to you I guess!

Engine management light, are there any noticeable problems with your car ie. spluttering? You'll need to get it plugged in at Renault to see what's the matter.

Was the exhaust spluttering? Possibilities are coil pack/HT leads/spark plugs, if not it could well be one of your lambda sensors as you mentioned.

So could I, but coilovers are different as they aren't in the same kind of locators that standard struts are.

My coilies were the same, got told it's normal with them. 172Ben had a similar problem and Tweeks said it was normal iirc.
