Jack it up, remove wheel, take arch liner out, then use a bit of guess work to guide a socket onto the bolts.
It was 5 years ago I last did it, but 100% didn't take the bumper off and did it from the wheel arch
Removed my dash top today in order to swap the display bulbs.
Also took the opportunity to swap the tweeters and speakers all round. Just need to wire in the crossovers tomorrow.
Also fitted my footrest plate
Just in desperate need of a good clean now
Stupid question alert.....
Can camber bolts be fitted to standard struts/hubs?
Or do they need a strut with an elongated hole? I need to get some camber bolts now I've fitted my sportlines
Told ya it was a stupid question, but I've never seen a camber bolt and I don't know much about suspension
I love the standard wheels though mate. They're in dire need of a refurb and some decent tyres.
Yeah iceberg is the best colour for them IMO. My last one was black and it hid the lines of the wider front arches, unlike the silver that shows them off nicely.
New cup shocks and eibach sportlines all round. Probably the biggest job I've ever undertaken on a car before to be honest, even though its relatively easy to do. Did three corners quite quickly, but then the last was a right t**t due to one of the strut bolts. Quick blast with the blow lamp...
I don't think that's a bad price at all really. Its a late 172, with relatively low miles, and cammed. Plus with it having the belts done recently it should appeal to a serious buyer.
As suggested though, take the stickers off and make the pictures sell it.
Edit, oh and as Sash says, you've...
