  1. Hi afternoon

    Mondial Blue Cup Track Car

Nice cars mate. Love the Sparcos in the track car, I’ve got exactly the same, not seen many of them before. They’re a super tight fit though! Guessing I’ve got the xxxs size!
  2. Hi afternoon

What's the average 172 Cup Mileage these days?

What's up with it? Don't let it die!
  3. Hi afternoon

    WP53 OKO - Glacier White - 172 Cup

Surprised you didn't have people knocking you door down asking to buy it once you stopped driving it!
  4. Hi afternoon

    WP53 OKO - Glacier White - 172 Cup

Just read through most of this! Mega. Do you still have it, any updates if so?
  5. Hi afternoon

    oVerboost's Liquid Yellow 182

    Stunner!!
  6. Hi afternoon

2004 Cup Packed Petrol Blue 182!

Nice work. Nothing worse than the smell of gearbox oil all over your garage floor, been there myself and has put me off ever changing the stuff again! Was it not worth doing the belts whilst the engine was out?
  7. Hi afternoon

What's the average 172 Cup Mileage these days?

Had 36 votes so far, giving a rough average of 91k. Obviously I can't work out an exact figure, but between everyone who's voted on this thread, I can say we've clocked over 3 million miles together in our Cups 😌
  8. Hi afternoon

What's the average 172 Cup Mileage these days?

I've got the exact same issue, except mines on 94k and a daily currently :weary:
  9. Hi afternoon

What's the average 172 Cup Mileage these days?

Believe it when I see it
  10. Hi afternoon

What's the average 172 Cup Mileage these days?

Thanks for the votes guys, keep em up. More the better! Judging from the results so far, the average cup mileage is approx. 78k miles. A bit less than mine :pensive: Would be super interested to find the two people who own Cups on less than 20k? They're hugely swaying the results. Must be...
  11. Hi afternoon

    Project Inferno

Nice updates mate, Inferno looks so good when clean. If it makes you feel any better, I went through EXACTLY the same pain as you when I decided to spray the headlining on my old 106 GTi. It was only a track car project however, so wasn't that fussed on the finish, think I ordered an extra 4 or...
  12. Hi afternoon

    What an epic day!

Just happened to stumble across this, nice write up! Nothing worse than finding some epic roads and stuck behind traffic. Did you get a fine in the end?
  13. Hi afternoon

What's the average 172 Cup Mileage these days?

If you have a 172 Cup, what Mileage are you on? Cast your vote above! With Cup prices being tipped to increase over the next few years, it'd be interesting to get an average mileage for the car, now some are reaching 16 years old!
  14. Hi afternoon

    Mossy's Cars

Poor Trophy out in the snow, Needs a warm garage! :openmouth:
  15. Hi afternoon

    The life of... SharkyUK's Trophy

Great that progress is coming along, but that's a shame about the Sachs :pensive:What's your plan with them then? They surely still look salvageable?
  16. Hi afternoon

    Clio 182 FF Arctic Blue

That looks fantastic mate! Great track photos also.
  17. Hi afternoon

Chronicles of #1/29 Petrol Blue 182

That does look approximately 10,000 times better actually, still prefer the Turinis though. Maybe I'm a bit biased aha
  18. Hi afternoon

Chronicles of #1/29 Petrol Blue 182

Fair point. Even still, arch gap isn't too much of an issue when it's sitting on the standard alloys, as you can just claim you're going for the OEM look!
  19. Hi afternoon

Chronicles of #1/29 Petrol Blue 182

I would just keep it on Turinis unless you plan on lowering it further. The arch gap really shows on those aftermarket wheels?
  20. Hi afternoon

    Turning Garage Into Detailing Studio

Awesome work! So clean, and like Jonnio said, I'm off to clean up my garage haha. Have you thought about putting some foam strips down the brick pillars that stick out? As a precaution for the unlikely event a door were to swing open into them?
  21. Hi afternoon

1*2 or 197 - £3,000 to spend at the very most

I'd say 106 GTi all day long, you can still get sound examples for around 2000-2500. But if you're using it for commuting (even if it's just 9 miles a day) I'd go for a Clio 172/182. It'll be hard to find a reliable/looked after 197 for that price I'd have thought.
  22. Hi afternoon

My Peugoet 208 GTI by P.S.

I'd definitely take the 208, Fiesta STs are common as muck, never look at them twice when they drive past these days. (That saying, there's a reason there's so many - they're awesome cars - just not for me.) 208 GTi looks great btw, not seen one in white before!
  23. Hi afternoon

    Silver 182 - 172 cup spec

The Japspeed TRE kit looks awesome, great idea! Want some myself now
  24. Hi afternoon

    D11CUP RB182 project thread

Agreed, you'd be throwing money away! For £900 you could change a endless amount of parts and completely transform the car.
  25. Hi afternoon

    Clio 172 cup

Immaculate mate. Noticed the same with my Cup a few days back, a good polishing really transforms the look of these cars! Have you fitted the induction kit yet ? The noise is properly addictive
  26. Hi afternoon

RS 200 Raider Stealth Grey #3/50

Some ace photos there mate, love them! Especially the 'ring mockup! News on the RS rear wing? I know you said it was on the cards, would certainly finish off the look alongside the splitter and side skirts.
  27. Hi afternoon

    James' 172 Cup Project

Few hours polishing, worth the result! Not bad for a daily on 93,000 miles 😌
  28. Hi afternoon

    D11CUP RB182 project thread

RB is such an awesome colour, slightly jealous haha. Nice work on the wheels dude, mine need the same treatment!
