    If cost is an issue. Look into reolink poe cameras. HikVision's other brand so to speak, still does POE, has sd card functionality on board too.

    Should work then. You gone into settings and scanned for the cameras? Did you have passwords set up on them? Need to scan for them and then if needed log into them. Presume they are getting power via nvr and cameras are active?

    Would be putting a 4g Router (proper router with wireless and network) and connecting camera to that. only way for that im afraid.

    Reolink would do fine, has a SD card built in too if you dont have wireless/network connectivity.

    5e is absolutely fine. cat6 is tighter twists and thicker inner. But save your time and buy passthrough plugs.
