Thanks mate, yep, just playing really as I've never used one before. Had to crop as where I'd shot with a stacked ND8 Grad too it was vignetting a little too much. Hopefully there will be a few clouds in Dubai to play with, but hopefully not too many ;)

ND filter arrived! Sorted for my flight on sunday. Go to test it out and my remote shutter doesn't work; assume batteries have gone. Go out to get batteries, still doesn't work. So tomorrow I need to hunt down a photo shop that sells remote shutters. Grrrr, is nothing ever simple?!

The for sale section here is good; buying cars from forums tends to be a good things as it's easier to track the history. If you were willing to compromise on colour, there is a lovely Flame Red one for sale currently on here for a smidge over £2k.

No one is suggesting that you should. It's just seems that for something as specific as what you're looking for, you may need to either a) broaden your horizons a little and search further afield, or b) up your budget.

So you've been waiting a week for a low milage Monaco to come up locally for under £2k? Right oh. One thing with these cars, buy on condition over milage, always.

Was a lovely looking car, wish I would have kept it for sunny days but it wasn't ideal as a daily. I believe it has since been written off with flood damage. Shame :dapprove:

There's no denying it'll be a good car. I'm sure it'll be be great. The 5 door thing doesn't bother me. Neither does the turbo'd engine, I prefer N/A but as I realist I know that that's not a viable option anymore. I, however, don't like flappy paddle gearboxes. It's not that they're not...

Finally got round to ordering a 10 stop filter this morning, went for the Haida mk2 in the end as it was cheap and apparently uses B&W glass. Hope it arrives by saturday as I fly on sunday! Found a cool app too called LongTime, it basically calculates the correct exposure time for your ND :)
