I can lock up with sticky tyres on track on a hot dry day!
I've just got restrictors to go on the rear off another fwd non-abs car, they go inline with the master cylinder and the brake pipes.
I'll repeat. Bluresponse. Best all round day to day tyre I've ever used.

That's why I was thinking of getting the self amalgamating tape and clamping onto that. Shouldn't slip then
I've got a poly mount, that's not the problem. It's the hanger that's the problem.
Oh its tight and in the right place where I can get it tight, just over time it slips slightly, only makes it droop 10-15mm lower but its annoying. I'd take a pic if the car was at home.
That's not the issue, that's the exhaust mount. The issue is the hanger on the box slipping.
Says the man...
Any methods for stopping the ktec 172 exhausts drooping on the rear hanger? It's as tight as it'll go.
My only thought is to put a high temp band of silicon around it, maybe the self amalgamating hose tape.
Re: Ph1 172
A bit of a gross exaggeration but I understand your concern. I doubt I'll do much more than 2000 miles this year so I'll be keeping a watchful eye on it.
Having been through the F4R manual I noticed this:-
The solenoid valve is closed at rest. It authorises
the passage of oil to control the phase shifter in
line with the operation of the engine:
- if the engine speed is between 1,800 and
6,500 rpm,
- if the throttle potentiometer is not at...
I will do if its not too much, otherwise I can have one made up.
I did what would be most effective for the least investment.
