I havent got the hang of scanning yet, but this is from my brochure before I ordered a V6.

An excellent piece of advice Tom. I did exacly that, and managed to get a FULL refund on my crappy VTS having put up with the rubbish for almost a year.
Something like :
Dear AutoExpress , EVO, Top Gear, etc....
"We here at ClioSport.net are all owners of shyty Renaults that fall apart and are mostly unroadworthy. "
"Why not pop down to your nearest Renault dealer today?" Dont forget to visit http://www.Cliosport.netwww.Cliosport.net "...
Well I have just been on the phone to my dealer. He said " Whats a V6 ?"
and "I can put you back to the switchboard for the number of M&S "
I also heard a small voice in the back ground reminding him that
"We are now selling Renaults"
Wow!! Do they do V6 socks? Grrrr those buggers didnt tell me anything about the socks. I would rather a pair of socks than a V6 anyday.
At least can hide my socks when Im out.
I think he may mean those non-existant Cup parts that buyers where duped into getting. A wee empty car then loading it down with lots of extra heavy weight bolt-ons, then wondering why the standard 172s keep flying past them.
Then again he may just want a nice blue and yellow tie ?
I went to make a cup of tea last night and found that I had run out of milk. I dashed to my local shop about a 1/4 mile away. They where about to close in 5 minutes. Thank goodness I got there in 14.83 seconds. Dont you just hate being the last customer?
There is a justification for 1/4 mile...
This sounds like a fair judgement of ABS
Some myths about ABS:
With ABS I can stop faster. - Not necessarily. On a wet road, you MAY be able to stop quicker because your wheels are not locked up. However, in several conditions you can stop faster by locking up the wheels. One example...
In 24 years of driving I have had about 15 cars without ABS and 3 - 4 with.
I firmly believe those with ABS stop quicker. Must be one of those personal opinion things.
I had a CUP brochure sent to me the other day from Renault UK. On the back it lists all sorts of extras, and says "Obtainable from your nerest dealer" or words to that effect.
PS. I didnt even ask for the brochure. I guessed as they new I own a V6 I might want to take a step up the ladder.
The element of suprise might have something to do with it. One would expect performance from what we believe to be a proper fast car.
I dream of a 4x4 twin turbo 480 bhp mid engined Trabant. :D
Sorry I cant help you there, but i would be interested on peoples opinions on these.
