If you get the feeling you car just isnt feeling 100%. Do you take it to the main dealer and ask them to check it all out on their techno machines? Do you have to pay for this if they find nothing wrong ? Just curious.

Johnny Ball time I reckon. A larger wheel would need less full turns to show 10mph on a speedo. I may be wrong but it seems a reasonable suggestion. Do we still have speedo drive gears with different amounts of teeth on them? Perhaps these would be matched to the diameter of the wheels/tyres...

This is something which fascinates me. How some drivers may be able to feel a second. It takes me about 35 mins to drive to London give or take a second.
