Hmmmm, not sure I like that. I adore the 458 and 488, but that looks a bit too much somehow. We seem to be going through a period of design where lots of lines, creases and angles are the fashion. It makes it look a bit fussy. I'm sure it's still bonkers though.
Standard all the way. If you're going to have any badges, they should be period correct. I think ones from a different age of car just look a bit weird for some reason.
There were a few at the Snetterton rally a few weeks ago. Was surprised to see some older ones, as it's mostly VI - IX models these days. I do love a I/II/III though.
I'd certainly take a 197 over a 182 for road use. They're worse on fuel, but nicer in every other way in my opinion.
As above, for track use, put in decent brake fluid, decent brake pads and just use it. I wouldn't even bother with a second set of wheels, not initially at least. Just fit decent...
I reckon if MRF are doing you a good deal (and you get on with them OK at Chester), I'd be tempted to go for it. A bit of budget saved for other things!
I was tempted to go to the Rally Revival, but no car unfortunately 😂
