You'll be putting a lot of load through the pedals, so the mounting needs to be strong. Could you weld some bosses to the floor to bolt into? You could use those to set the pedals level at the same time. You may still find the floor bends a little. I'm not sure how stiff the floor is there really.
Looking well Dave, the 335i is looking much better already.
Did you get a chance to check the towing weight on the 325i? The Vauxpile broke down yesterday so now I hate it even more ?
MDA Motorsport used to do it in Ellesmere Port. He shut up shop as he was only running the business part time and wanted to concentrate on family life after having a second kid. Can ask if he kept the gear though.
That looks lovely.
Were the door strips dull from the factory? They were always dull on my Cup but it had paint so I assumed they'd just been done badly, but they look similar on this.
Pics really make me miss mine :(
That looked a really good condition car - even has the original splitter? Brave man to strip it and turn it into a track car! Looks good though, you've achieved a lot quickly!
I literally can't keep track of all of your BMWs ? Which one is the touring? Are you selling at any point (if it's even complete)? I'd still like one really.
Not approved by Ford this time as they say the engine can't take it. Will be interesting to see how the tuning potential of these compares to the old car.
Yeah it's a very odd trend. One of the wheels on my Golf R had started to go before it was a year old. Ford have had loads of problems with some of their wheels. You'd think they would have learned by now.
Yeah seems the 18" version is five stud only. I'm surprised they didn't move to five stud with the new car. Would look great with that style of wheel on it I think.
Decent price for an LY and will only go up in value as people seem to love them in this colour. Set of anthracite Turinis would be spot on on this.
Dragging up some older posts. Shame on you both for not knowing your 90s/early 2000s mods
