I paid £2600 for my 02 80k 172 18 months ago. It won't long before they are around the 2k mark imo.
Take into account vfm, spec, cost to run, comfort, performance and i doubt you'd find anything on the roads to match them. Bargainous!
i think the standard seats are pretty good, remove the spacers and they can sit a bit lower.
The only problem with them is the seat back wobbles on almost every one i've had. There must be a way to tighten them up somewhere...
I've searched the forum but can't seem to find a conclusive answer. The hub has 3 flat grooves in the spline bit. Is this suitable for a 172 ph2? How can this part fit both ph1 and ph2?

They are fairly heavy and i had a few ghetto adjustments to make on mine. Socket in the hanger helps, and i've got it sorted with the help of some cable ties. Lift the exhaust with a trolley jack which makes it easier to adjust.
