i prefer them darker tbh, with such a strong colour, i think you should keep the range of colours to a minium, black side repeaters, bullets, wheels! silver wheels, green car, black trim = too much going on for me, all personal prefrence through, its your car!

im confused, you're taking the engine out of that RREEAALLLYYY nice ph1, and putting it in a mk1? why not just leave the engine in that?? and do a few more mods with the tim/money you would have spent changing the engines??

well its got a hillpower polyeurothaine (sp) dogbone mount, this is the only lower engine mount on the car i think :S and ive just ordered an uprated engine mount from ktec as the one in there does seem to give a lot of movement, hopefully this will fix it!

I just wondered if it is worth replacing the springs on my valver?? theyre supposidly 60mm eibach springs, the paint is starting to flake off! so no evidence of brand can be found, Do springs go limp after time? and not have the same loading strength (or whatever) that they should?? or will...

do you mean, gearbox mount, or engine mount?? or actually the gearbox?? well ive got next week off, and i should be doing some work underneigh the car, so ill have a look! lower gearbox mount is powerflex so it should be that, i did need to change the engine mounts at somepoint anways :D

On a valver! have spax adjustables on the rear, need to change my front shocks! i intend to do a wide track conversion in the summer, at which point ill get coilies, but until then, i want to upgrade my front shocks for around £150 for the two, both spax and apex fall around that area...

yup, hovered it one day, the next day i got in with dirty shoes, and that happened! i thought the exterior looked rather nice tbh, but ive now been told otherwise :( tbh, the paintwork isnt amazing, im glad you like the numberplate! :D
