whilst they are all ok photos, i dont think any of them scream "expensive kit" and tbh could probably have been taken on a much cheaper setup. I think you need some better subject matter to test to equipment. IMO of course!

i think people are forgetting that this camera will produce images as good as a £1000 D300 and opens up a whole new world of possibilities by offering HD video. For £700 its far and away the best imaging tool available and a real step forward.

From what I've read the D90 produces very similar results in high ISO etc compared with the D300. I know what my christmas list will contain...

yeah we use that too. We also have smoke, temp, humidity, ping and movement sensors. Quite annoying when it starts texting you at 4am though.

personally i wouldn't bother. If your widest lens is 30mm i think you'll regret it.
