Thing is i'd rather have an improvement meanwhile before spending on a PMS. Money saved from not going PMS, can be spent in other areas.
I think i've probably made up my mind not to go PMS, purely for the cost element. Although I may just get a yanoo stiff shift on the...
It's also £315. I do completely understand what you're getting at though but can't justify that sort of money. I'd prefer something that is atleast 'better' for the time being, before going pms.
I contacted ash but didn't get a reply although i've heard from lots of people that the BMS ones he doesn't make anymore. Not sure if this is true or not.
Ahh this makes sense! I was in contact with some breakers for the mk1 on ebay, and £45 posted seemed to be the price for the scenic...
I'm getting a little confused as to why the scenic shifter is better than the standard one. Is it purely because of the longer arm?
The thing is I've seen this style, but is this just the pms shifter? Would it be possible just to add a steel rod onto the existing standard shifter?
This is...
Looks to be a different shaft rather than the standard scenic one? Must be something going on below but obviously wont ask you to take your car apart haha.
Nearly bought a used sparco wheel today on ebay but resisted temptation. Suede just looks so nice, but i agree that the blue sabelt wouldn't really suit BG.. or would it?
Gonna grab some vanish tomorrow from poundland too!
That's a shame mate, but atleast these problems have reared their heads now, rather than later down the line so you can sort it out properly.
Is the injector knackered electrical wise? As I know you have that cleaning rig, but if brand new you can surely get them replaced?
Think you'll trailer...
I spoke to Yanoo over messenger, and he said the 3.0 doesn't work with the BMS, but i'm not entirely sure on the 1.0. From reading to the end of that thread @OssPoop it seems pointless to get a groupbuy as it's just not cost effective.
I'm thinking of just getting the 3.0 and using it with my...
Become a member mate. Definitely worth the £12.
Here's the video -
I'd read lots before about people having positive experiences doing this. For the price of 2 cable ties its worth it!
Happy to help mate.
In regards to the rear wiper. The plastic should just lift up to show the arm. You can then just snap this off and then pull it all through from the inside. (Don't forget to undo the nut under the trim though or It won't go anywhere).
Huge difference! Actually looked like a full black suede steering wheel beforehand. Wonder if it'd help with a debobbler now after you've brushed it up.
Half expected photos of you in the bath with the steering wheel tbh :)
I wonder where the settings correlate between the two when they're at the same stiffness. Would it be full stiffness of the 3.0 equates to the 1.0 version? @Yanoo?
What're the main differences between the yanoo 3.0 and 1.0 versions? I understand the 3.0 you can adjust the amount of force required to put it into a gear, but isn't the 1.0 preset to a suitable level?
Just trying to figure out which is the best to go for. Was just going to go with the 3.0 to...
I wasn't so keen when i saw the photo on facebook, but now i've seen it on here it's grown on me! Think if you have black aerocatches it'd look better with the white strip but awesome nevertheless.
Do your bassports need pushing in a little more? Offside one looks to be sticking out. Do you...
