I need to check but I believe that my car has the cup pack suspension. If this is the case I think the new abs rings the PO had fitted are incorrect for the car. They look thinner? And could be the cause of my abs light.

I paid £1200 and didn't have to shell out anything for getting the car back to mine which was a bonus! Car wasn't advertised with all the mods either which made it even cheaper. Think I got quite a bargain yeah.

Had the radio out today, and im guessing I can't use a connects 2? All of the block was taken. There was the blue connector from the CD changer, and then a yellow i presume that went to the satnav? I could always do without the cd changer as I dont use cd's.

So after months of scrolling through ebay for sale ads I finally bit the bullet and purchased a BG 182. Having owned my 1.2 and making it somewhat into a sport replica over the past year I'm glad to finally own a real sport! I will be keeping my 1.2 until January when my insurance renewal comes...

I had thought about this but the rarity of having an original satnav is what I prefer! I hope to hold onto the car for a long whilst and this extra might help it keep better value

Might look at alternative seals or pieces of rubber/foam I can cut to the correct shape as I'm not wanting to shell out £80 for something so small!

I'll pull it out tonight and have a look! I could always splice into it if so. Thats the problem with having a sat nav clio, noone has really modified them! I'll take lots of pictures for anything I do so people have references.

Can you not remove your pedals, bend or cut and extend them into the place that you're wanting them to be? You have a welder now ;) you have to learn some time

I didnt buy it because it had been advertised as mapped and cammed by the way! This wasn't actually in the original listing it's a few owners back who I had managed to get in touch with who told me this information.

Yeah, I don't really trust it to be honest! Especially when he told me it ran 216 on dyno.... He had said the throttle body was larger but it's stock unless he has bored it out? Suppose I could take it off and have a look. It's easier to just believe it hasn't been modified and if it has, well...

Yeah it does just that. Also idles really lumpy, had been told it was cammed but don't know if that's true either as there's no paperwork to prove it. Is there another way to check if mapped? I'd get an RSTuner but no point if its already been done!

I was told by the PO that the car had been mapped at some point in its life. Is there a way for me to tell? I'd read that it would sit at 1.1k revs, and also have no limiter on it but the cars not actually on the road at the moment so I cant test the no limiter part. It doesn't sit at 1.1k once...

Doesn't the fan only kick in once to temperature? How long did you let it sit for?
